About Pancragen

Pancragen is studied in tissue regeneration and repair research, including cell and animal models. A proposed effect on beta-cell function and insulin synthesis. In aged rhesus monkeys, Pancragen normalized insulin and C-peptide dynamics after glucose challenge, an effect partly still detectable three weeks after discontinuation.

Research Application

Researched in the context of age-related glucose intolerance and type 2 diabetes; a small study in elderly people with impaired glucose tolerance reported reduced fasting glucose and insulin-resistance index — the closest this peptide family comes to human data, though small and not independently replicated.

Tetrapeptide Lys-Glu-Asp-Trp, or its amide (KEDW) – sequence confirmed across several peer-reviewed publications.
One of the better-studied peptides in this family: published work spans rats, aged rhesus monkeys, and a small study in elderly humans with metabolic disorders. Nonetheless not an approved drug and not approved as a diabetes therapeutic anywhere; available only as a research substance.
