About Livagen

Livagen is studied in tissue regeneration and repair research, including cell and animal models. In lymphocytes from older people, Livagen activated ribosomal genes and produced decondensation of pericentromeric and telomeric heterochromatin; in hepatocyte cultures from old rats it markedly increased protein synthesis.

Research Application

Researched as a liver bioregulator, with reports of increased protein synthesis in aged hepatocytes and effects on digestive enzymes. The evidence base is comparatively extensive for this peptide family but remains preclinical.

Claims circulating online are often not backed by valid clinical data. Treat all information as a starting point for your own scientific research, not as usage guidance.

Tetrapeptide Lys-Glu-Asp-Ala (KEDA) – sequence confirmed across several peer-reviewed publications.
A liver-targeted short peptide from Khavinson's group; among the better-documented peptides of this family in peer-reviewed literature. Not an approved drug; all studies originate from Russian research groups.

Sequence and regulatory status data are based on publicly available sources and refer to the compound in general, not to a specific product.

Research Overview

Studies on regenerative peptides are mostly derived from cell culture and animal models; comprehensive clinical data is typically still limited.
