About GHK-Cu / KPV Mix

GHK-Cu / KPV Mix is studied in dermatological and anti-aging research, e.g. in relation to skin and pigmentation models. Via its copper component, GHK-Cu supplies a cofactor for lysyl oxidase. Unlike full-length alpha-MSH, KPV does not bind melanocortin receptors; it is taken up via PepT1 and is associated with inhibition of the NF-kB pathway.

Research Application

The blend is discussed as a research approach that combines GHK-Cu's structural/regenerative direction with KPV's anti-inflammatory direction. No study evidence specific to the combination exists to date.

Combination of GHK-Cu (tripeptide-copper complex Gly-His-Lys) and KPV (tripeptide Lys-Pro-Val, C-terminal alpha-MSH fragment).
The combination has not been studied clinically or preclinically as a whole; the existing evidence relates exclusively to the two individual components.

Sequence and regulatory status data are based on publicly available sources and refer to the compound in general, not to a specific product.

Research Overview

The evidence base for skin and pigmentation peptides is largely based on preclinical and early clinical investigations.
