About Sermorelin

Sermorelin is among the peptides researched in the context of the growth hormone (GH) axis. As an unmodified GHRH fragment, sermorelin is rapidly broken down by the enzyme DPP-4, resulting in a very short half-life and pulsatile growth hormone release.

Studied in GH-axis research as a short-acting, unmodified GHRH fragment that triggers pulsatile rather than continuous growth hormone release. Production of the approved product Geref was discontinued in 2008 for commercial, not safety, reasons.
