About Mazdutide

Mazdutide is among the compounds studied in metabolic and weight-regulation research. Simultaneous activation of the GLP-1 and glucagon receptors: GLP-1-mediated appetite suppression and insulin release combined with glucagon-mediated increases in energy expenditure and hepatic lipid oxidation.

Research Application

In the Chinese Phase 3 trials DREAMS-1/2, mazdutide showed superior effects on HbA1c and body weight in type 2 diabetes; the GLORY-1 trial met its primary weight-reduction endpoints in obesity.

Important to know

Claims circulating online are often not backed by valid clinical data. Treat all information as a starting point for your own scientific research, not as usage guidance.

Peptide dual agonist at the GLP-1 and glucagon receptors (GCGR/GLP-1R), developed by Innovent Biologics under license from Eli Lilly (development code IBI362).
Approved in China (brand name Xinermei): June 2025 for chronic weight management, September 2025 for type 2 diabetes. Not FDA- or EMA-approved in the US or EU — still investigational there.

Research Overview

A growing number of preclinical and clinical studies exist for metabolic peptides, though the volume varies significantly by substance.
