About LL-37

LL-37 is studied in tissue regeneration and repair research, including cell and animal models. LL-37 has an amphipathic structure that allows it to insert into bacterial cell membranes and disrupt their integrity — a mechanism fundamentally different from classical antibiotics.

Research Application

Studied in wound-healing and antimicrobial research — clinically so far only in topical form for venous leg ulcers and diabetic foot ulcers. No published human data exist for injectable use.
