About Cardiogen

Cardiogen is studied in tissue regeneration and repair research, including cell and animal models. A proliferation-promoting effect on cardiomyocytes via a peptide-DNA mechanism is proposed; in organotypic culture, picomolar concentrations increased proliferation in both young and old rat heart tissue.

Research Application

Discussed in relation to aging heart tissue; one tumor study also reported a growth-inhibiting effect on sarcoma in aged rats. All data are preclinical; no human clinical studies exist.

Important to know

Claims circulating online are often not backed by valid clinical data. Treat all information as a starting point for your own scientific research, not as usage guidance.

Tetrapeptide Ala-Glu-Asp-Arg (AEDR) per secondary sources; the accessible peer-reviewed papers do not state the sequence explicitly.
Originates from Khavinson's research group. Not an approved medicine in Russia, the EU, or the US; sold only as a research substance. Published data come from a small number of cell-culture and animal studies by the same group.

Sequence and regulatory status data are based on publicly available sources and refer to the compound in general, not to a specific product.

Research Overview

Studies on regenerative peptides are mostly derived from cell culture and animal models; comprehensive clinical data is typically still limited.
