About Bronchogen

Bronchogen is studied in tissue regeneration and repair research, including cell and animal models. Proposed, like other Khavinson short peptides, to enter bronchial epithelial cell nuclei and bind DNA promoter regions; one study measured a stabilizing effect on DNA melting temperature in vitro. This peptide-DNA mechanism remains a largely unproven hypothesis.

Research Application

Studied in the context of chronic airway disease; one rat study of obstructive lung pathology reported regression of bronchial epithelial remodeling. No controlled human trials exist.
